Welcome to Stinchar Holiday Cottages

We have three delightful holiday cottages to let in the pretty village of Colmonell in South Ayrshire. Colmonell is situated in the picturesque Stinchar valley in rural South Ayrshire, South West Scotland, about 6 miles inland from the coast at Ballantrae.
There is a hotel, the Boar’s Head, which has a public bar and restaurant. The nearest shop is in Ballantrae, or for more shops visit Girvan about 9 miles away. It is not far to the sea at Ballantrae where there is a small harbour and lovely beaches. This is where the River Stinchar flows into the sea.

“We had an awesome two week stay in Riverview cottage in Colmonell. We were made very welcome by Anne and Robert and felt really at home in this comfortable and cosy cottage. The village is very peaceful with outstanding views of the Stinchar valley and surrounding countryside, with plenty of short walks right at our doorstep. The cottage has its own cooking facilities so we were able to stay in and enjoy our surrounds and relax. Thanks again for our wonderful stay”
